Since 1995, families from across the nations have come to experience Haunted Atchison. The Haunted season, September through Early-November is a popular destination for casual spook chasers and committed paranormal investigators alike. It began with the now famous Haunted Atchison Tours, a guided tour aboard the historic Atchison Trolley. Since then, we've added more and more offerings. These tours, programs and events have something for everyone, from the informational History/Mystery Walking Tour and the festive Meal with a Medium to a night of Paranormal Investigating, Atchison has a little bit of everything. We're offering Murder Mystery Dinners, where you could end up being the murderer! Unlike many collections of haunted tours and events, Atchison's haunted history didn't just pop up all of a sudden when the trolley started passing by the sites over 15 years ago. The stories and locations explored in Atchison have been collected over decades, some stories are over a century old. The stories have been told since Atchison was a bustling transportation hub and launching point for westward migration in the late 1800s, and later a pioneering railroad town. The bizarre occurrences in many of our majestic dwellings continue to happen today and paranormal investigators still hold Atchison as a hotspot of ghostly happenings.
