War Horses for Veterans is a three-day equine and networking experience. Veterans will have the opportunity to bond with horses, as well as each other, in a safe and comfortable environment. Transportation, hotel and meals are provided at no cost to the veteran. Prior experience with horses is not required. Meet and greet other participants and the horses. Dinner included. Overnight at hotel. Day two: Transportation to WHV facility. A full day of interaction with the horses, including grooming and round pen activities. Three meals included. Overnight at hotel. Day three: Transportation to WHV facility. After Action Review. Networking and job placement guidance. Breakfast included. Transportation to hotel or airport. After completion of the program: six-week follow up to evaluate the response to the program. Ongoing networking to assist with career opportunities. Ongoing networking among the program participants. This is not a treatment program. This IS an experience!
