Fort Scott Compassionate Ministries & Outreach Center

Description

Our Outreach Center, located on the second floor of The Bourbon County Senior Citizens Center, brings services to families who are experiencing poverty (or issues stemming from poverty) in the Fort Scott/Bourbon County area. Included are Hygiene supplies, bathrooms, computer/internet access, and phone access. The Outreach Center originated as My Father's House Community Outreach Center and was launched in January 2014. The Outreach Center is a Community effort supported by local churches, organizations, and individuals and is sponsored locally by the Fort Scott Church of the Nazarene. Our organization also represents The Salvation Army for Bourbon County, assisting with Disaster Relief, rental and utilities assistance, gas vouchers, prescription and eyeglass assistance.
