Atchison Area Farmer's Alliance and CSA

Description

We are a group of farmers that came together to support each other, provide and share resources and create a supportive community of growers that can provide our local area with the highest quality food products available. We run a local CSA together, so that when one farmer faces the inevitable challenges that growing food brings, the other farmers can take up the slack to help insure that the CSA shares are fulfilled each week. CSA subscribers pay for a share of the anticipated harvest; once harvesting begins, they receive weekly shares of vegetables and fruit, as well as the opportunity to receive eggs, dairy and meat, in a weekly box.
