Get your taste buds ready for our newest pop-up restaurant: Kimchi and Bap! At this pop-up you will have the opportunity to try traditional Korean dishes such as: Bibimbap: a rice dish topped with a variety of fresh, seasoned vegetables to create a harmoniously balanced feast; tender marinated beef bulgogi; sweet and savory japchae noodles; and of course, kimchi the side dish that brings cohesiveness to all these incredibly vibrant flavors.
On the days of the pop-up lunch will be served 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. and dinner will be served 5 to 8 p.m.
Dine in or carryout. Credit/debit accepted; cash is accepted if it is exact change.
ABOUT THE CHEF
Kimchi and Bap's owner, Lisa Hamblen was adopted into a multicultural household to include a Korean mother and an American father. Her favorite childhood memories are often tied to the simple yet impactful flavors and aromas that came from her mother’s kitchen. Lisa is excited to carry on that tradition by sharing these delicious Korean favorites with her community!
PARKING
The Kitchen is located on the mezzanine level above the main Public Market floor. Park in the free on-site parking garage accessible from eastbound 87th Street Parkway and either Penrose Street or Winchester Street. From the ground level, enter the Lenexa City Hall building across from the garage, near the statue of Na-Nex-Se. Once inside the lobby, head to the right (east) through the art gallery to enter The Kitchen.
TICKET DETAILS:
No ticket or pre-registration is required for this event. It is open to public. but customers must purchase their food from the pop-up restaurant.
